Hope Together supports the Charter of Rights for Children and Young People in care
Hope Together is an organisation responsible for the care of children and young people, who have rights.
When children and young people understand their rights, they can talk about how they feel and adults and carers can discuss their rights to help support them further.
These rights for children and young people include:
- the right to feel safe and respected
- to be treated well and feel good about yourself
- to have a say in decisions that affect you
- to have help and support when it is needed
- to be able to tell someone if you are unhappy
Hope Together uphold these rights in the care we provide them and we are committed to Office of the Guardian for Children and Young People’s Endorsement Program.
